The Story of Heirloom Fields

Art, Land, and the Life in Between.

We didn’t set out to just be venue owners. We set out to find a place where our family could breathe, create, and build something that lasted.

One of us is an artist and potter, usually found with a paintbrush, at the wheel or otherwise making a mess. The other spends his weekdays managing high-stakes emergency response in the corporate world, but finds his real peace here—usually on a tractor or in the saddle. Heirloom Fields is our family’s shared canvas. Whether it’s the blueberry rows, the studio, or the horse pastures, this land is where our different worlds finally make sense.

Why "Heirloom"?

To us, an heirloom isn’t just an old object; it’s a story passed down. Whether it’s a painting that hangs in a family’s first home, a bowl pulled from the kiln, or a Saturday morning spent picking berries with your kids, we believe the best things in life are the ones that get better with time. We renamed this place Heirloom Fields because that’s what we want it to be for you and for us: a place where traditions are started and memories are kept.

A Family Effort

Life moves fast, and kids grow up even faster—which is exactly why we’re all here. This farm is a shared effort, and whether you’re visiting for a U-Pick day, browsing our stand at the Farmers Market, or celebrating a wedding, you’ll likely see the whole crew.

You might find our son helping in the rows—he’s currently studying Agricultural Management to help us better steward this land—or see our daughter working toward her certification in Equine Therapy so she can eventually teach lessons in our pastures. Even our oldest daughter and her husband, who are just up the road and expecting their first baby, are a huge part of why we chose this life. When you’re here with us, we want you to feel like you can finally exhale, slow down, and enjoy the rhythm of the farm just as much as we do.
