Elope Near New Orleans at a Blueberry Farm
Say I do.
Sip champagne.
Cut the cake.
Take the pictures.
Go celebrate.

Planning to elope in New Orleans? Before you book a chapel in the Quarter, look just an jour north. Heirloom Fields Farm is a working blueberry farm venue in Loranger, Louisiana with ceremony-only elopement packages starting at $750. We welcome couples eloping from New Orleans, Mandeville, Hammond, Baton Rouge, and beyond who want the Louisiana feel without a big city wedding.
Why elope near New Orleans instead of in the city?
Cover a quiet, private setting, no crowds or competing parties, easy parking, your own bridal cottage, blueberry fields and open farm light for photos, and the option to head into New Orleans afterward for dinner or a second-line-style celebration.

Looking for places to elope near New Orleans?
Heirloom Fields Farm & Venue has 2 Intimate Elopement Wedding Options:
Elopement (ceremony rental only)
All Inclusive Elopement (ceremony + cake + flowers + photography)
Anything outside that scope is a normal venue rental.
A Big Wedding Isn’t Your Thing?
Maybe you don’t want to spend a year planning a wedding.
Maybe you’re ready to get married, but a big guest list, a packed schedule, and trying to make everyone happy just isn’t what you want.
Or maybe you want something beautiful and meaningful without spending your entire wedding budget on one day.
Skip the big wedding without skipping the beautiful parts.
At Heirloom Fields, you can have a real wedding day — just a smaller, simpler one.
A beautiful place to say your vows
Time with the people who matter most
Champagne, cake, and a few moments worth celebrating
Beautiful photos you’ll actually want to hang on your walls
A day that feels special without feeling like a production
Say I do. Sip champagne. Cut the cake. Take the pictures. Go celebrate.

What is an Heirloom Elopement?
It’s a wedding day without all the stuff that can make a wedding feel like a second job.
You’ll have the farm to yourselves, say your vows, celebrate with champagne and cake, take beautiful photos, and then head off to enjoy the rest of your day.
Say I do. Sip champagne. Cut the cake. Take the pictures. Go celebrate.
It’s small. It’s intentional. And it’s still a wedding day.
Who should elope?
An Heirloom Elopement might be exactly what you’re looking for if:
You’d rather spend your day with your closest people than entertain a big crowd.
You want your wedding to feel beautiful and special without becoming a huge production.
You don’t want to spend months making decisions about napkins, seating charts, favors, playlists and centerpieces.
You want great photos, a beautiful setting, and a few meaningful moments — without planning a reception.
You’d rather get married and then go celebrate somewhere you actually want to be.
There’s no reception to plan. No giant guest list to manage. No wedding weekend to coordinate.
Just the parts that matter most to you.

Getting to Heirloom Fields from New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and the airport
Heirloom Fields Farm is at 50247 Hwy 445, Loranger, Louisiana, on the Northshore in Tangipahoa Parish. It’s an easy drive from New Orleans, and far enough from the city that your day stays quiet, private, and entirely yours.
Drive times to Heirloom Fields
From Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY): about 1 hour 10 minutes
From downtown New Orleans and the French Quarter: about 1 hour 20 minutes
From Baton Rouge: about 1 hour 10 minutes
Mandeville / Covington: about35 minutes
Hammond: about 20 minutes
Flying in for your elopement? Land at MSY, pick up a rental car, and you’ll be at the farm in just over an hour. Many couples stay in Hammond the night before, then head to the farm for their ceremony and we also offer the Bridal Cottage as a Honeymoon Suite overnight as available.
Where to stay nearby
Hammond is the closest town for hotels, restaurants, and groceries, and it’s a convenient home base for your elopement weekend. You’ll find well-known hotels near the I-55 and I-12 exits, including Hampton Inn, Courtyard by Marriott, and Home2 Suites. For a more scenic evening, Abita Springs and Ponchatoula are fun for dinner before or after your day.
Planning a getaway around your elopement? Tell us your dates in the form above and we’ll share local recommendations.
After the ceremony, you’re about an hour and a half from dinner in New Orleans if you want to celebrate in the city.
Wait - I think I want a reception too…
Yes! We can totally handle that for you. 😊
If you’re looking for a micro wedding or a regular venue rental rather than an elopement, we’re happy to help!
Heirloom Fields Farm does not change our venue rental fee based on your guest count, so there are no penalties if your guest list grows a little.
Our elopement package is designed for a very small, simple celebration. Say I do. Sip champagne. Cut the cake. Take the pictures. Go celebrate.
If you’re planning a reception with your guests… think appetizers or a meal, dancing etc - that falls outside the scope of an elopement and our regular venue rental or micro wedding would be the better fit.
