A hands-on class at Heirloom Fields Farm
What you'll make
Handmade Christmas Ornaments
$45 per person | 2 hours
DATES Tuesday, December 1: 2:00-4:00 Saturday, December 5: 10:00-12:00 Saturday, December 5: 1:00-3:00
Handmade ornaments are the kind of gift people actually keep. They come out of the box every December and get hung on the tree with a story attached. Make a few for your own tree and a few for the people you love, and you're done with some of your Christmas shopping.
In this 2-hour class, you'll roll, cut, stamp, and texture your own clay ornaments, then glaze them right here before you leave. No art skills needed. If you can use a cookie cutter, you're qualified.
WHAT YOU GET - All your clay, tools, and glazes - 5-7 handmade ornaments to take home - Everything fired in my kiln and ready for pickup within 10 days (by December 15), so there's plenty of time to hang them or wrap them before Christmas
GOOD TO KNOW
- Ages 5 and up may join but must be accompanied by an adult, and a ticket is required for each person in your party. - Spots are limited to 10 per session.
- Class is held outdoors between the blueberry fields if the weather allows, otherwise inside the cottage.
- Want to make a day of it? Pack a picnic lunch and bring a blanket to hang out on the farm before or after class (weather permitting).
- Pickup at the farm, or I can arrange pickup in Prairieville.
- Spots are paid in advance and nonrefundable, but if something comes up, you're welcome to give your spot to a friend.
