Handbuilt Sweater Mug Class at Heirloom Fields Farm
Handbuilt Sweater Mug Class at Heirloom Fields Farm No wheel, no experience, no judgment about your lumpy first attempt. Come spend a cozy afternoon at the farm, maybe out among the blueberry fields, making your very own sweater mug. We'll show you how to shape it by hand and press in a knit pattern so it looks like soft yarn. It's easier than it sounds, and every mug comes out a little different, which is the whole charm. Bring a friend, bring your mom, bring a coffee.

Saturday, November 21. Choose the 11am-1pm or the 2pm-4pm session.
Heirloom Fields Farm, 50247 Hwy 445, Loranger, LA. If the weather's nice, we'll be set up out between the blueberry fields. If not, we'll be cozied up inside the cottage.
$65 per mug, glazing and firing included. Payment holds your spot. Limited to 10 mugs per session, so everybody gets real help
Ages: 12 and up on their own. Ages 8 to 11 are welcome with a grown-up working alongside them.
Wear: Clothes you don't mind getting a little muddy, and a jacket in case it's a chilly one outside
AFTER CLASS I glaze it for you. Pick your color in class and I'll take it from there. You wait (sorry). It takes about 2-3 weeks, so your mug will be ready before Christmas, just in time to give as a gift (or keep). You pick it up. I'll let you know the minute it's ready. Pick it up at the farm in Loranger, or we can arrange a pickup in Prairieville if that's easier.
